Thoughts
It's important for the world, through philanthropy, to fund programs that empower people with disabilities, using a human rights framework. Two funding priorities are to provide funding to organizations run by and for people with disabilities, especially women with disabilities, and the parallel funding priority is to fund organizations who provide technical assistance to ensure people with disabilities are included in existing programs, which can be achieved through training, policy and legislation.
