Biography
Jeanne Argoff, Ph.D., is the Founder and Executive Director of the Disability Funders Network (DFN), an association of foundations and corporate giving programs whose mission is to promote awareness, support and inclusion of people with disabilities and disability issues in foundation and corporate grantmaking. From 1986 through 1998, Dr. Argoff was responsible for the grants program at the Dole Foundation for Employment of People with Disabilities in Washington, DC—beginning as Grants Manager and becoming Vice President in 1994. Dr. Argoff was co-chair of the Council on Foundations (COF) Affinity Group Network Steering Committee and has served on COF’s Committee on Inclusiveness, the board of Washington Grantmakers and the editorial board of Foundation News & Commentary (FN&C). She has produced a video on disability funding, The Disability Mystique, and authored many articles, reports and manuals for grantseekers and grantmakers.
