DREDF is a national and world leader in the disability rights movement, leading the way in the fight to protect people with disabilities against discrimination and from social and economic disenfranchisement. DREDF provides advocacy information and education, represents people with disabilities in court cases on their rights, and is promotes policy reform on the local, state and national levels.

Beginning with the efforts of two parents to find tools to enable their daughter, who has a significant disability, to live her life to the fullest, ATA has grown into a nationwide network of centers providing assistive technology to people with disabilities.
