IAVI is a global nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure the development of safe, effective, accessible preventive HIV vaccines for use throughout the world. Founded in 1996 and operational in 23 countries, IAVI is the world’s first biomedical product development public-private partnership. IAVI and its network of partners research and develop AIDS vaccine candidates, conduct policy analyses and serve as advocates for the field.
