Here at the ASPCA, we are doing all we can to combat pet overpopulation—from providing low-cost or free spay/neuter to qualifying pet owners in New York City’s five boroughs to ensuring that each and every animal adopted from our shelter is spayed or neutered. more Your gift will provide one month of care for a rescued sheep. By sponsoring a farm animal, you can provide the necessary support to care for a rescued animal. Farm Sanctuary's shelters are funded entirely by members, so the number of animals we can care for is always dependent on sponsorship funding. more Your gift will provide one month of care for a barnyard of rescued animals, including one each of a chicken, rabbit, goose, duck, turkey, goat, sheep, pig, and a cow. By sponsoring a farm animal, you can provide the necessary support to care for a rescued animal. more Your gift of 25 vaccines will help protect the cats that live here at the sanctuary, and keep them healthy as they await their forever homes. Even though we follow a stringent isolation period for the incoming animals, the risk of exposure is compounded if an animal is not vaccinated. more Your donation will enable Renctas to produce one 30 minute weekly radio program. The program will be transmitted in many different Brazilian radio stations and for free in the Internet, to disseminate the information in a ludic way, reaching some of the most distant places of Brazil, where there is no television. more To help increase the chances that a lost animal will be recovered, the ASPCA relies on microchip identification. An electronic chip, about the size of a grain of rice and carrying a unique code, is implanted between a pet’s shoulder blades. more Your donation will purchase a one day supply of baby bottles, formula, diapers, and wipes for our nursery. more This gift will provide a surgical pack that will be used to spay dogs and cats. more Your gift will provide treatment for internal parasites for 15 puppies more Your gift will feed Ivan or one of the other rescued emus at Project Hope. Because each emu consumes 3 pounds of food a day, your gift will provide 270 pounds of feed to an emu, providing him or her with the essentials to the highlight of the day for an entire month. more Your gift will provide support for education materials, letter writing campaigns and direct negotiations with municipal governments in several developing countries to bring an end to the poisoning. more Your gift to Adopt A Tiger today will help to battle the many threats -- including illegal logging and poaching -- to tigers and other endangered wildlife around the world. more |
