Registration

Though we have already reached over 800 attendees for this year's conference, we are holding registration open for a few more days. However, if you register on or after February 28, we are not able to guarantee that we will be able to give you a conference t-shirt or a conference flash drive. We ask that you check in at the conference as usual, but that you hold off on getting a t-shirt and flash drive until we've made sure that everyone registering before February 28 has received theirs. We apologize for any inconvenience, but want to make sure that we honor our commitments to earlier registrants, while allowing as many people as possible to experience the event! Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you in Boston!

Campus: Northeastern University
Location: Boston, MA
Date: March 7-9, 2008

The IMPACT Conference is historically the largest convening in the country of campus community members involved in service, activism, politics, advocacy, and other socially responsible work across philosophical and ideological lines. This event builds on the legacy set forth by the COOL Conference and the Idealist Campus Conference, spanning an incredible 23-year history.

The conference is the one time during the year that college students, nonprofit professionals, campus administrators, and year of service members meet together to share their experiences, stories, and resources in their work for social change. Conference attendees gather across philosophies, ideologies, issues, geography, and approaches to social change -- it is, indeed, a unique collection of young people and the professional staff who support them!

Our friends at Changing the Present have kindly donated and set up this corner of their website for our use. Although it is not necessary to join Changing the Present to register for the conference, we hope you will create an account with this great organization as a way to create drives for your favorite nonprofits and connect with other civic-minded folks across the country. You can set up a profile here and a drive for your favorite organization here; we hope you enjoy the site as much as we do!

Our friends at Youth Service America have also pitched in to serve as our fiscal agent for the conference. Since this year's conference is being collaboratively organized by a national planning committee, independent of any one organization, all registration and sponsorship fees will be processed by Youth Service America. You can see what Youth Service America is up to be heading to their website!

Our friends at Campus Compact have rallied behind this event in an innovative way. Participating in the Case Foundation's Causes Giving Challenge, Campus Compact raised enough money to provide two student registration scholarships to the conference. These scholarships are available to current students of Campus Compact member institutions who might otherwise not be able to attend this conference without financial support. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, February 8. Winners will be notified Monday, February 11. See more information on Campus Compact's website.
