In Mexico, Plaza Sésamo, is working to open children to the rich cultural diversity of the region and encourage children and their families to lead a safe and balanced lifestyle through exercise and healthy eating habits.

The Gift

Your donation will help support Plaza Sésamo, the Mexican version of Sesame Street, and its “Healthy Habits for Life" initiative. The acclaimed Spanish-language television series for preschool children depicts a colorful neighborhood, the Plaza, which is home to a mix of families, children, and Muppets. The series, now in its 10th milestone season, continues to educate and delight children and currently focuses on promoting healthy habits. Sesame Workshop, the organization behind Sesame Street, collaborates with local producers, child development experts, educators, and child psychologists to develop the educational curriculum in response to local needs.
