SAHF believes that a significant fraction of the energy consumed in the properties owned by its members is wasted due to inefficient or poorly functioning heating and air conditioning, hot water, lighting, laundry, and power systems. The inefficiences can add to tenant costs, eating up income that might otherwise be spent on food, medicine, or other necessities.

The Gift

Your gift will enable a low-income, elderly resident to have greater control over the energy usage in her apartment, contributing to reduced energy costs for her and freeing up income for other basic needs.
