As part of the National Hunger Awareness Day movement, I would like to challenge our membership to join me on Wednesday, May 21 to forego buying lunch, (Brown Bag it) and donate the cost of lunch that day to the Cooperative Feeding Program whose services assist the working poor and their children, the elderly on fixed incomes, and the sick and the disabled.

CRISIS IN BROWARD COUNTY: In a recent Broward County Survey 1 in 4 CHILDREN go to bed hungry every night. Poverty, hunger, homelessness and suffering are all harsh realities of the hard economic times. The Bar Association and the Cooperative Feeding Program have joined up to help make a difference and change lives for the better.
