This drive supports the participation of MayerRosenzweig

TEP is a UNIQUE charter school since it will attract and retain master teachers by paying a $125,000 salary (plus potential bonus). This salary is NOT achieved through fundraising but by reallocating the public funding that TEP receives as a public charter school. If successful, this is a highly scaleable model that could be used to improve education both in NYC and the rest of the country. The only fundraising necessary - the goal of this drive - is for the initial cost of the school facility.
