Awesome! I've exceeded my goal! I want to thank everyone for contributing! Your help means a lot to me. As for my training, things are going well. I've gone up to 8 miles last weekend. I'm prepping for 10 miles this coming weekend.

My company Juniper Networks has a matching gift program. So to my colleagues out there, Juniper will match whatever you donate dollar for dollar. Juniper Rocks! I've always wanted to do something to protect the environment. I also love to run! I've researched several different ideas and came across this one. Why not put both passions together and run for a cause? Instead of me just donating and feeling good about myself, why don't I raise money for something that affects every living creature on the planet? If possible, a donation (no matter how big or small) will go a long way towards a good thing. -Ferdinand |
