My father's first yahrzeit will occur on January 22 (7 Shevat). In his memory, I'd like to raise funds for this wonderful project that buys winter coats for children in New York City shelters. My father was in the clothing business and took such pleasure buying clothes (including winter coats) for me and my sister. I know that he would be moved by this project, and that his soul will be elevated by those who make this good work possible in his memory. Goal: 18 coats in his memory

Problem

Due to a lack of funding, many of the shelters are ill equipped and not able to provide quality coats for all of the resident children. We work to make sure that every child has a warm coat for the winter.

The Gift

This gift will provide a a warm coat, hat, scarf, and gloves for a child living in a New York City shelter.
