OverviewMercy Housing is working to create a more humane world where poverty is alleviated, communities are healthy and all people can develop their full potential. MissionTo create stable, vibrant and healthy communities by developing, financing and operating affordable program-enriched housing for families, seniors and people with special needs who lack the economic resources to access quality, safe housing opportunities. ProgramsMercy Housing acquires and develops quality, affordable housing properties for families, seniors and people with special needs across the United States. We also provide our residents with a variety of services to help them gain the skills they need to change their lives and improve their communities. Our resident services include after-school and summer youth programs, refugee services, life skills courses, health care services and financial education programs. ImpactAs of October 2006, Mercy Housing had developed 19,100 quality, affordable homes for more than 58,000 people in 41 states.
