Give parrots room to fly

Problem

Captive parrots end up spending most of their lives in confined spaces. They may get to roam the living room or kitchen if they are socialized properly. But with over 100 parrots here, we cannot allow many of them out of their cages together. In order to respect the innate abilities of these birds, we want to provide a space for them to fly. Birds need to exercise in order to remain healthy.

The Gift

Your gift will provide these parrots with regular flight time in a space where they can fly from perch to perch, twisting and turning and feeling the air beneath their wings. They will enjoy the outside breezes, sounds of nature, and the healthy sensation of their beating heart. With soaring spirits and increased circulation, the parrots have the opportunity to interact with their caregivers, being handled regularly and this socialization will dramatically increase their possibility of adoption to a good forever home!
