Continuing education is vital for all healthcare providers, providing much needed clinical updates, best practices and opportunities to enhance the quality of care. Yet the costs can often be expensive, making it impossible for people to attend needed training programs. For hospice teams in small or rural programs, attending trainings is virtually impossible.

The Gift

Your donation will bring a national training to an entire hospice team or organization. The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Audio Web Seminars bring leading national speakers to hospice teams for intensive, skills-building trainings.

Currently, each seminar is “attended" by more than 1,000 people who work in hospice and palliative care settings, representing approximately 100 hospice programs across the country. With more than 3,500 hospice programs nationwide, this is a small percentage of those professionals who could take advantage of this distance learning program.

Whether an organization opts for the audio only or audio web seminar, the cost allows them to host a seminar in one location for as many of their employees and volunteers as they choose.
