Producers consistently report a need for training, equipment, infrastructure development and market access. In addition, difficulty meeting the exacting quality standards of US industry prevents farmers from selling more of their products on Fair Trade terms, and limits supplies available to U.S. buyers eager to increase their Fair Trade purchases.
