Caring for hospice and palliative care patients can be challenging when disaster strikes. The greatest need is for the most essential things – gas, food, water, oxygen and electricity.

NHF’s disaster relief fund was established to assist hospices during a crisis, so they can continue to provide the best possible patient care with minimal disruption.

The Gift

Your donation will fuel the hospice care that must continue in the wake of a disaster.

NHF and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization channel critical resources to hospice and palliative care providers in devastated areas. Your support will help transport staff and equip them with medical supplies. You will provide oxygen for a patient in need and food for a caregiver. You will send generator power to those patients too critical to move.

Amid destruction, hope can be found. People recognize that they are part of a greater community – and hospice brings that community home. So your gift will do more than provide care in a crisis. It will fuel hope.
