Problem

Landmines lay buried in some of the poorest communities on our planet. Left behind after conflicts, landmine and other explosive items maim and kill thousands of people every year. Landmines also hinder the development of agriculture, reconstruction of homes, transport of goods and movement of aid agencies.

The Gift

A gift of $100 will enable our demining teams to safely remove and destroy one landmine in Cambodia. Through 2007, any gift donations received through this site will be double-matched by the U.S. Department of State, one of the leading supporters of mine action. This means that a donation of $100 will be matched to create a total contribution of $300! The donor and the recipient of the gift will be acknowledged and will have the option of receiving occasional updates on their minefield.
