VisionSpring has a huge impact on the areas where it operates. VisionSpring helps train low-income men and women to start their own micro-franchises selling reading glasses. It also restores eyesight to millions of the world's poorest people, who, without clear vision would lose income or drop out of the labor force altogether. However, Vision Entrepreneurs are limited to the number of people they can serve and there are many people in need of eye care that VisionSpring has yet to reach.
