Problem

Every child has a right to primary education, specifically free primary school. It is a fundamental right to which governments, including Angola, committed themselves under the 1989 Convention of the Civil Rights of the Child. 3.5 million children in Angola have no access to basic primary education due to the devastation of a 27 year civil war. RISE is focused on building schools in rural Angola and bringing the opportunity for education to those who would otherwise not get the chance.
