As New York City struggles to do more with less, volunteers play a critical role in maintaining public parks and gardens. You can help New York Cares purchase supplies for Hands On New York Day, one of our citywide days of service, to keep our public spaces well tended for all New Yorkers to enjoy by sponsoring one or more of the items below.

This kit contains items needed to stop erosion at one small park: erosion jute netting, ground staples, hardwood tree stakes, grass seed, and hay.
