More babies are born in Asia with cleft lip than anywhere else in the world. Many of these children end up in orphanages due to a heavy social stigma surrounding this special need. Orphans with cleft are some of the most vulnerable children of all since it is so difficult for them to be hand fed a bottle in a crowded orphanage. Our foundation always has a waiting list of children in need of this life changing surgery.

In addition, following a child's surgery our foundation advocates for each child to have their paperwork filed for adoption. LWB follows the children in our medical program very carefully, and you will receive updates and photos of your child not only during surgery, but also post surgery as well. You will be able to clearly see the amazing difference you can make in a child's life.
