Problem

Many people do not realize that public school in China is not free, so many orphaned children are unable to attend. In addition, because of the stigma of orphans being "unlucky", even if they can go to school they often attend the lowest quality schools in their cities. LWB works to send preschool, kindergarten, primary and high school students to the most appropriate public school environment available.

The Gift

For $20 a month, LWB pays tuition, transportation, school supplies, snack and book fees for orphaned children attending public schools. For those children that will never find their forever family, education while orphaned becomes an absolute necessity. We advocate for these students to be admitted into the best schools available and work to ensure that they are successful.
