Foster families in China often do not have the resources for luxuries such as toys for the children they foster. Developmental toys help a child learn to interact with their family both cognitively and physically. They encourage bonding as well as social interaction between the family and the child. Simply helping a child build a tower with blocks or put a puzzle together can help build this type of trust and attachment.

The Gift

Your gift will provide one set of developmental toys to an orphaned child in China. Each set of toys is chosen based on the age and mental development of the child. We take great care to provide toys that will not only increase a child’s learning potential but also benefit their social and emotional growth. Each set of toys is delivered to the child personally by our foster care managers in China. Our manager will spend time with the foster parents to teach them how to play and interact using these toys with their foster child.
