Problem

East Atlanta Kids Club (EAKC) enriches the lives of over 100 disadvantaged youth in Southeast Atlanta. This is done through a variety of programs and activities, including a mentoring program. It costs roughly $2000/year to support one child in our program (which is free to the youth and their families). As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EAKC relies on donations from individuals and organizations to fund these much-needed programs.

The Gift

A few crazy triathletes, who are passionate about both tris and EAKC, decided to make a challenging upcoming race even more challenging. They have formed "Team Augusta 70.3 for EAKC" and will compete The first-ever Augusta 70.3 Half Ironman in Augusta, GA on Sept. 29. As if swimming 1.2 miles, biking 56 miles, and running 13.1 miles weren't enough, they have each agreed to raise at least $1500 on behalf of EAKC. They need your help to raise a total of $5000 or more by race day. Please consider supporting these triathletes in their efforts to raise funds for this very important nonprofit organization!
