The fight against AIDS can’t be won without defending human rights — but with an estimated 38 million people affected worldwide, information and sound analysis of laws and policies related to HIV/AIDS is sorely lacking for many. Worse still, where research exists about ground-breaking court cases or positive changes in legal protections, those who could most benefit from it often can’t find it.

The Gift

The HIV/AIDS Policy & Law Review, published by the Legal Network in collaboration with the American Bar Association, is one of the only journals in the world focusing on HIV/AIDS-related policy and legal issues. The Review analyzes court cases and other developments on issues such as treatment access, discrimination, drug policy and criminalization. Over 600 print subscribers and 59 000 on-line readers find it an invaluable research and advocacy tool. It informs and empowers lawyers, policy-makers, health professionals, and activists who would otherwise be unable to find up-to-date information and analysis of the human rights of people affected by HIV/AIDS.
