Problem

Many children in the developing world suffer needlessly with clubfoot, a treatable condition. Clubfoot is a congenital condition in which a child's foot or feet are twisted inward and downward. Clubfoot makes walking difficult and painful, often keeping the child from attending school or being able to play sports with his or her friends. If caught early enough, clubfoot can be cured without surgery through a series of castings.

The Gift

This gift will provide casts for 5 children born with clubfoot. For these children, casts mean a cure. Their clubfoot will be treated early enough that they will never have to grow up with the stigma of being disabled.
