Problem

Parasites, malnutrition and anemia are major problems in the communities where Amazon Promise works. In Belen, in the city of Iquitos, 4-6 meters of water cover the town during the rainy season, mixing with human waste and other refuse to produce widespread contamination. This exposes many children who rely on these waters for travel, bathing and recreation to potentially harmful bacteria and parasites. Potable water and multivitamins are a basic and essential foundation of good health.

The Gift

This gift will provide approximately 28 Peruvian children with a daily multivitamin for a whole year, enabling them to grow up strong, fight disease, remain in school, and stay healthy!
