Problem

Nonprofit summits geared towards addressing community needs can increase community coherence and strength by providing an opportunity to bring together like-minded people interested in the same goals to share their experiences and best practices on issues such as the lack of a community center. Many in local Persian centers have thought about the need and some have even initiated efforts to create such community centers, yet are in need of the resources and infrastructure to successfully do.

The Gift

This gift will fund lodging and transportation for one nonprofit activist to attend PARSA’s annual summit of Iranian NGOs aimed at promoting networking, collaboration, and sharing of best practices. The summits will alternate between Southern California and Washington, DC.
