Problem

“Shoe day” takes place twice a year for the orphans living at the Kathalwa House. A van arrives after a three hour drive from Colombo to fit shoes for the growing children. Going barefoot in a tropical climate looks "cool", but the kids want to run and play and not get cuts and infections.
Over 300 children need shoes... twice a year.
