Hello, my name is Emily. I am 28 years old and I am so happy to be living and working in New York City. I really enjoy learning about aspects of health and wellness and sharing my experiences through my work as an editor at a local magazine.

As a New Yorker, I feel especially connected to this nonprofit. Peter Alderman was killed in the 9-11 attack, and his parents started this foundation in his memory, providing support to mental health professionals in post-conflict zones. A beautiful example of turning suffering into creative change.
