I am an tropical ecologist. I love Central America, its people, and its diversity of forests, lakes, mountains, and oceans. These all need protecting. I am fortunate to be leading Paso Pacifico, a non-profit dedicated to conserving Central America's ecosystems while helping local people.
I Believe:

The University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh Anthropology Club has generously partnered with Paso Pacifico to help raise funds for their in situ conservation projects. Your donation will directly support important research on the threats facing the endangered Black-Handed Spider Monkey, and develop solutions for protecting and restoring their populations in Nicaragua. This research must start in June before the rainy season drives the monkeys away. Students, faculty, and friends: Please donate now!
