AFP - Emissions of greenhouse gases will rise by 57 percent by 2030 compared to current levels, which will increase the Earth's surface temperature by at least three degrees Celsius (5.4 degrees Fahrenheit), the International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Wednesday.

The earth is very big and takes a long time to heat up or cool down. If this article is true we are in for major changes to our Earth. We need to reduce gobal emmissions of greenhouse gasses to the 1900 year levels to reverse global warming and I can’t see that happening any time soon. We urgently need to increase forests to absorb carbon dioxide and convert to convert to non-carbon dioxide producing energy sources. Plant trees and use Solar energy.
