Shoes, we all have shoes. Some of us love them & many of us have too many. But in parts of Africa the cost of a pair of shoes is beyond the reach of many families. Simply not having shoes can deny girls the chance of an education. Not only are shoes a school requirement, but also the scorching roads & risk of diseases make them a necessity. $14 can give one girl a pair of shoes to protect her health & help send her to school. An education could really change her life. Imagine what we can do!
If you believe that other people's lives are important and that something should be done about the poverty in the world, become a friend of Planwell Organizationt by donating $10 to educate a disabled child. Many uneducated disabled are found on our streets beging for arms under severe condition. But if we send them to school they will grow and become independent on thier own. Hello, and thank you for stopping by! On April 18th I will run the Shiso Satsuki Marathon 5k, and I am hoping that my tired feet will help out some other tired feet this year.
For every 25 dollars I can raise, a girl will get a sturdy pair of shoes to carry her to school. With the amazing heat and risk of disease, shoes are important to these young women! And, proper shoes will help them get something more important: and education.
My goal is 20 pairs. Can we beat that?
