Gerald Wallace Foundation at The Giving Back Fund

Overview

The Gerald Wallace Foundation was established by Charlotte Bobcats' forward Gerald Wallace to provide life-changing opportunities for underserved children and their families with a special emphasis on recreational activities in Gerald's hometowns of Childersburg, Alabama and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Currently the Foundation is sponsoring a ticket section for charities. The Foundation is also planning on building a basketball court in Charlotte and continuing Gerald's work rebuilding the Phyllis Wheatley Center in Childersburg.

Mission

To provide life-changing opportunities for underserved children and their families with a special emphasis on recreational activities in Gerald's hometowns of Childersburg, Alabama and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Program

Your donation will help the Gerald Wallace Foundation provide life changing recreational opportunities to kids in his hometowns of Charlotte, North Carolina and Childersburg, Alabama.

In Charlotte, your donation will help the Foundation sponsor a new basketball court. In Childersburg, your donation will help suppport renovations in the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center's gym.

Impact

Hundreds of children in Childersburg and Charlotte will have a new basketball court to play on.

The Gerald Wallace Foundation is currently sponsoring a ticket section at the Bobcats games. Charlotte based charities are bringing kids to the games where they receive additional goodies. In total, the Foundation will host hundreds of children.
