International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War

Our founding co-president, Bernard Lown, recently published "Prescription for Survival: A Doctor's Journey to End Nuclear Madness," a remarkable memoir about the founding of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War. Our goal is to provide medical school libraries with inscribed first editions of the book, in order to raise awareness among future physicians about war as a public health issue.

Times are tough for IPPNW right now, but they're needed more than ever. They do so much for so little.

Along with 30 other medical students from around the world, I will be riding hundred of kilometers to raise awareness about the dangers of nuclear weapons and financial support for our growing movement of concerned medical studnets.
