Overview
In a world of abundance, where ample food exists for every man, woman, and child, 850 million people, 350 million of them children, go hungry every day.
Friends of the World Food Program (WFP) engages U.S. entities and citizens to support the World Food Program, the United Nations lead humanitarian agency, in its 45-year fight to end hunger.
With generous support, Friends of WFP delivers hope to the hungry poor by providing outreach opportunities; educational activities; granting millions of dollars to WFP's relief programs; and collaborating with other groups to build support for U.S. food assistance programs.
