Job Summary

The GLAAD Media Awards recognize
and honor media for their fair,
accurate and inclusive
representations of the lesbian, gay,
bisexual and transgender
community. Nominees for the
GLAAD Media Awards are selected
by volunteers serving on Nominating
Juries. Nominating Juries review
hundreds of eligible LGBT media
images, and through discussion and
scoring, select the five most
outstanding media representations of
LGBT people. There are 10 different
Juries, each one responsible for a
different type of media. The time
commitment required to be a Juror
varies depending on the Jury. We
are currently recruiting for the
following juries:

Reality Program
TV Journalism
Newspaper & Magazine
Music
Super Jury
[Talk Show, Daily Drama,
Advertising, Digital Journalism]

With the exception of the Newspaper
and Magazine Jury (which is Internet-
based) all juries meet in Los
Angeles.

Each Nominating Jury has a limited
