Description:
The Volunteer Programme at REDRESS aims to attract COMMITTED and RELIABLE volunteers to provide general administrative/clerical support for the organisation's London office, and also serves as a great way of gaining work experience with a wonderful human rights organisation.
Duties:
The Adminstrative volunteer will assist with:
• Reception-desk relief
• Photocopying
• Occasional research
• Filing
• Mass-mailing projects
• Updating electronic contacts lists
• Archiving REDRESS periodicals/publications
• Proof-reading redress reports/publications
Required Skills:
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work independently with guidance from staff members
• Excellent communication skills
• Open attitude and a willingness to learn skills
• A sharp eye, attention to detail and accuracy in their work
• Fluency in English
• Professional and friendly with the ability to interact with others
