Activities Assistant

Description:

Lots of fun things are happening at an assisted living center for seniors, and your help is needed to make sure they happen! Their volunteer needs include: calling bingo, pet visits, sensory stimulation, bridge, exercises, singing, musical instruments, crafts, social activities, community outings, current events, reading, portals of prayer, manicures, pedicures, painting, baking, gardening, and strolls. Our tenants are very energetic and enjoy learning and sharing.

Seeking volunteers who are good with the elderly population. Snacks are available to the volunteers and residents. There is not a set minimum age for this position. Suitable for individual, family, and group volunteers. Help is needed Monday through Friday between 8:00-4:00, or evenings and weekends by prior arrangement with staff.
