More than 70% of Nepal people still use forestry products for energy and farming. As a result forests are being thinner and thinner day-by-day. Volunteers will work with local NGO?s for the prevention and solution. Volunteers will teach environmental education for about 2 to 3 hours each day for six day a week (Saturday is off). Volunteers will also be involved in sharing their ideas, skills and knowledge with local about environmental issues. Volunteers will form a group among the students that will work in the environmental areas inside and outside schools. This will include activities such as creating green clubs, making a flower garden, planting trees, garbage management, paper recycling, making smoke less stoves, making toilet pit using local materials etc. Learn more: |
