Advocate

Description:

Advocates provide support, information and referral on the Rape Crisis Line or Iowa Sexual Abuse Hotline, as well as in person at the hospital or police station.
Advocates work from home, signing up for shifts that fit into their busy schedules.
Training is comprehensive, experiential, and free. Please contact volunteer-coordinator-rvap@uiowa.edu to begin the screening process.
