Activities and Resource Development Specialists - 4 *VISTA positions!

Description:

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County are seeking 4 AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteers to serve as activities and resource development specialists. The VISTAs will serve in 4 key areas: developing after school programs (1), developing community resources (2), designing public relations and fundraising (3), and organizing special events (4).

AmeriCorps *VISTA Volunteers are full-time paid volunteers. *VISTAs receive a monthly living allowance of $840, paid health insurance, and an allowance toward child care, if necessary. Members chose between a $1200 stipend and a $4725 education award that can be used for future education or to pay past student loans. These are available at the end of the year of service. Stafford and Perkins student loans are deferred during the year of service.
